The Cost Projection report gives you a clear picture of your entity management costs in Discern. For each entity, you'll see a breakdown of annual subscription costs, periodic report filings and franchise tax filings, along with any other filings that have already been submitted to Discern.
This projection is based on current entities and filings in Discern, and may shift due to updates in entities, state fees, or other factors.
With projected costs and dates available in a downloadable format, your finance and accounting teams have everything they need to plan ahead and build more accurate annual budgets.
A few things worth knowing as you use this report:
Registered Agent Subscription costs may be pro-rated depending on when an entity was added to your account.
The Cost Description includes Jurisdiction-specific nomenclature, which correspond to your Invoice descriptions.
For any past costs, the Date reflects when the invoice was paid. Upcoming costs will show a future due date.
The Paid column tells you how a cost was fulfilled. You'll see Paid or Off Platform, or "-" if it's still upcoming.
The Discern Fee and Jurisdiction Fee are broken out separately, so you can see exactly where each cost is going.
